Early Bird Events – Friday, April 5th:

• Live Jazz: Enjoy an intimate evening of Jazz music by The Heather Pierson Duo at the Majestic Cafe.
  • $10 cover, reserve your spot in advance here.
  • Doors open at 6pm, music starts at 7 pm.

Weekend Events – Saturday, April 6th & Sunday, April 7th:

• Tin Mountain Conservation Center Walk/Snowshoe Tour: Explore the trails of Tin Mountain Conservation Center with a guided tour. See a historic quarry, beaver pond, and diverse forests. Witness spring’s magic firsthand!
  • Saturday from 10 am – 11:30 pm.
  • $15 per person or $25 per household, free for members.
  • Waterproof footwear required. Snowshoe rentals available.

• North Conway Chili Cookoff: Sample chili from professional and amateur chefs who will be battling it out for culinary glory and bragging rights. Come hungry and prepare to be wowed by a range of chili creations. You might also find delicious cornbread, sweet treats, and more! It’s the perfect event for the whole family, so gather your crew and join the chili fun!
  • Saturday from 11 am – 3 pm.
  • Tickets are $15 online, $20 at the door, and free for kids under 9. You can buy them here.
• “Do You Want to be a Beekeeper?” Free workshop: Learn about beekeeping from local experts at the Whitney Community Center
  • Saturday from 10 am – 12 pm

• Red Parka Pub Live Music: Catch live music performances by Ed Bradley Project on Saturday, and Blue Sunday with Erin Harpe Duo on Sunday.
  • Saturday: Music from 8 – 11 pm.
  • Sunday: Music from 5 – 8 pm.

 

Looking Ahead to the Solar Eclipse – Monday, April 8th:

Several locations around North Conway are hosting viewing parties for the solar eclipse! Here are a few options:

• Tuckerman Brewing Eclipse Party: This free, family-friendly event features music, door prizes, and eclipse viewing.
  • Music by DJKRIS10 from 1:30 – 4:30 pm.
  • Free entry.

• Solar Eclipse in the Wood: This free event at Theater in the Wood in Intervale will feature games, a bookmobile, a food truck, and live music from local band Powerline Country.
  • Event starts at 1 pm.
• Solar Eclipse Party at Wildcat Mountain: This free event includes skiing/riding, a pop-up BBQ and bar, a costume contest, and eclipse-themed crafts. The lift will pause at 3 pm and resume after totality.
  • Event from 3 – 5 pm.
• Jackson Ski Touring Center Solar Eclipse Viewing Party: Free community viewing party with simulations of the eclipse process and eclipse glasses for purchase.
  • Event from 2 – 4 pm. Register here.
• Bretton Woods Skyway Gondola Solar Eclipse Viewing: Enjoy breathtaking mountaintop views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range via the Bretton Woods Skyway Gondola. At the summit, there will be eclipse themed refreshments for purchase.
  • Event from 12 – 4:30 pm.
  • Gondola rides are $50 and tickets can be purchased here. Tickets include eclipse glasses.
