Ice Castles of New Hampshire

Looking for something COOL to do with the family?  Then take a visit to Arendelle and see Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and the rest of the crew!  Just kidding.  But the scenery is very similar in Woodstock, NH at the Ice Castles!

Take a walk through an ice wonderland and check out the amazing structures and works of art constructed entirely of ice!  With some sculptures featuring over 25,000 pounds of solid ice, it really is a sight to behold.  After walking around and checking out the scenery, you can fly down the ice slides, go for a sleigh ride, and even enjoy some tubing with the kids.

Located about 1 hour from North Conway and the Cranmore Inn, the Ice Castles are certainly worth the drive.  Not to mention the entire drive is down the Kancamagus Highway.  One of the most beautiful scenic drives in the area makes the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish.

Insider tip:  As you might imagine, the Ice Castles are extremely cool, and also extremely COLD!  Be sure to dress appropriately, and then add an additional layer from there.  Some nights drop to nearly 0 degrees, so to maximize enjoyment hand warmers, face covering, and good gloves are highly recommended.  For an added bonus, maybe add a thermos of hot chocolate to enjoy on the car ride home.

Come up to North Conway and the Cranmore Inn, and enjoy an activity that the whole family is sure to love!
